Institución Educativa Básica Especial recibe ayuda de nuestros voluntarios (16 de Mayo del 2006) Trabajando por la Comunidad (16 de Mayo del 2006) Beginning of the Pre Collage Center (May 6th 2006) The joy of the volunteer service (May 5th 2006)                 Institución Educativa Básica Especial recibe ayuda de nuestros voluntarios      fotos »   La Institución Educativa Básica Especial Nº 008 (San Bartolo) que alberga a cerca de 50 niños con problemas de retardo, síndrome de dawn y problemas de lenguaje, recibió esta semana la visita de un grupo numeroso de jóvenes voluntarios canadienses que vinieron con el fin de desarrollar un programa de ayuda en el mantenimiento y mejora de este centro educativo. Desde ya se van viendo las mejoras de las aulas y la alegría de alumnos, profesores y padres de familia que podrán contar con un ambiente mejor para su formación.      Regresar a la lista      Trabajando por la Comunidad   Fieles a la misión que el Señor nos ha encomendado en la promoción humana, nuestro Centro junto a un grupo de Jóvenes Voluntarios que nos visitan desde Canada, inició el Martes 16 de Mayo los trabajos de mejoramiento y remodelación del Parque Principal del AA.HH. San José II Etapa (San Bartolo). El trabajo consiste en el pintado de los juegos para niños, abastecimiento de depósitos para basura, arreglo del parque y mantenimiento de áreas verdes. Esta obra beneficiará a cientos de familias que desde ya agradecen la valiosa colaboración y generoso servicio de nuestros voluntarios que les permitirá contar con una mejor calidad de vida.      fotos »      Regresar a la lista     BEGINNING OF THE PRE COLLEGE CENTER      see pictures »   In order to contribute with the formation of the young people in our district, the LFC Saint Peter the Apostle began the Pre College and Superior Studies Center “Saint Peter Apostle”. This will allow many young people to review high school knowledge and get ready to enter a College or an Institute. (Note: In Peru every university prepares a different exam for selecting their students. After high school, many teenagers decide to prepare themselves for these exams during the summer or in a half-year or year period, depending of the exam difficulties) Pre College Center began its activities with the First Pre College Seminar that took place in May 4th and 5th. Many young people attended it. They could learn a lot about vocational orientation and they could get a clearer vision of what a good preparation is about. Classes will begin on May 15th..      Back to list      THE JOY OF THE VOLUNTEER SERVICE   We receive on May 4th a new volunteer from Boston, USA: Stephen Raham. He will be with us a few weeks. He is going to help us with the work we do with poor boys and young people. He is helping now in the courses of English and sports. He also contributes with other activities of our center. Like him, many young people had the opportunity to discover the joy of the volunteer service that a person can perform.      see pictures »      Back to list
