Saint Peter Apostle
Solidarity Center
is an apostolic and solidarity environment located in San Bartolo district (25 miles to the south of), whose labor extends to other neighbor districts. Its facilities are located at Av. Mar Pacífico s/n cuadra 6 in the same district.
The Solidarity Center is in charge of
Solidarity in Action (SIA), an association that belongs to the
Christian Life Movement (CLM) that seeks to receive the poorest and create for them better life conditions according to their dignity and human rights. One of the ways SIA has in order to accomplish their goals is the solidarity centers, as the ones we have in San Juan de Miraflores and Ate.
Solidarity centers offer an integral service to the person: in order to answer to their assistance, promotion and spiritual needs.
San Bartolo is an area of many pastoral and solidarity needs. That’s why SIA assumed the direction of this center with special attention for human promotion by jeans of the education.
SIA also develops health, education, development and solidarity help programs. All of them are possible because of the help of many companies, volunteers, institutions that live Christian solidarity with the poor. This also makes that poor people live solidarity among them and generates a Christian Solidarity Culture.
