«An impossible task indeed, a testimony of my experience here at St. Bartolos in few words.  How is this possible.   However, if one cant distinguish the difference of PAIN AND PLEASURE, versus SUFFERING AND JOY,  I have no way to express this most fulfilling time of my life.  Here in Peru, are Gods poorest and yet humblest, most friendly, spontaneous, loving people I have ever met.

Suffering…. A deep regret that I can do so little and the need here is so great……. One has to come down here and see for oneself.

Joy ……….. the little I give goes so far and the appreciation so great, that the gift of joy is beyond measure.  Only Gods poor can give so much in return for so little.  Only Gods grace can lead some one with so little material, so little spiritual and even so little physical….. I am 66 …… ability to be of much help.  Yet the return for me is inexpressible.  Come down here, with a spiritual life or not, God has a gift of grace for you beyond your reckoning.  See how poverty and love go together like simplicity and truth.  Meet JESUS CHRIST.  The WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE».
